The Barbeque here is very good. They smoke their meats every day and when they sell out they are out. The brisket is smoked well and moist.

Our first trip to Big Rig's BBQ & it did not disappoint! Friendly staff, quick service & delicious BBQ, made this place a new favorite. A large menu is on the wall when you walk in. You can order a la carte, or there are 2 platter options. They also offer sandwiches, a BBQ salad, kids' choices & dessert. We had a party of 5 & chose the "Even bigger Big Rig's platter." There was plenty of food for that amount of people & it was absolutely delicious. You get a 1/2# of each smoked meats, full rack of ribs, 3 sides & 3 pieces of cornbread. We chose pit beans, mac & cheese, & braised cabbage as our sides. When the food arrived at our table, we were blown away at how much you got. Everything was amazing, and we definitely will be back!

I had an overall great experience during my visit here at Big Rigs. The bathrooms are clean as well as the inside of the restaurant. The Mac n cheese is fire! Cornbread was yum! Pork belly burnt ends was my choice and I overall had a tasteful meal. Wonderful customer service as well.

Big Rigs has quickly become our favorite BBQ spot for date nights during the week! The staff is always so kind going above and beyond to be as full-service as possible where they can. Just this week we went in for the new Burger of the week that drops on Wednesdays, and it was SO GOOD that we got another one this evening (Friday) with an order of the wings to split both meals since we couldn’t bear to just enjoy it once. I’ve been to Nashville, and my partner just got back from Texas, and neither place holds a candle to these wings or brisket.. The tables/bathrooms are never sticky despite all of the BBQ sauce around, and the atmosphere is cozy but plenty big enough for a gathering if you want to meet with a few friends. We’ve been there at “peak” times more than once and still always find parking and a table. I’m glad we’re moving within walking distance so they can be our go-to spot for years to come! Big Rig BBQ is the REAL DEAL! My double smash burger with brisket was fantastic! Fries are seasoned to perfection and my wife’s brisket was on and popping! Juicy & seasoned! You have to visit a big rig barbecue! The staff is pleasant, kind and very helpful! You’re actually doing yourself a disservice for not eating here!

Big Riggs BBQ isn’t just the best BBQ in Pittsburgh—it’s the best in all of Pennsylvania. Period. The brisket and pulled pork are so good they might just knock you out of your chair. Perfectly smoked, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. And don’t even get me started on the sides—mac & cheese that’s creamy and rich, plus cornbread that’s an absolute must. Just add it. You won’t regret it. On top of that, the prices are a steal for the quality you’re getting. Whether you’re a BBQ connoisseur or just someone who loves incredible food, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You’ll be back.

If I had to change anything I would have liked more bark. But flavor wise DELICIOUS plain and simple the baked beans are definitely goated in my all time baked beans list. I should have started with I love BBQ and have eaten at almost all the regional bbq places ie Kansas, Texas, Carolina’s, Memphis and not apparently Pittsburgh go figure! The brisket was tender and the smoked turkey not dry, the burnt ends burned a way into my heart.

Oh my gosh, we are here for the first time today and it was soooooo good. I got the pork belly, Cole slaw, Brussels sprouts, and braised cabbage. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich with the potato salad. The portions for the sides were way bigger than I expected, and all of them were seasoned well. There was a selection of different BBQ sauces on the table as well as a ton of different hot sauces in the condiment area. The cabbage melted in my mouth, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy with a sweet sauce to compliment it and the Cole slaw was a perfect vinegar base. We will definitely be back anytime we’re in the are.
